Welcome
My name is Rebecca Loring. I’m a Portland, Maine native who has called Portland, Oregon home since 2008. Over the past 13+ years in Occupational Therapy, I’ve supported individuals across the lifespan—from children with developmental challenges to adults with mental health needs, neurocognitive changes, and complex medical conditions. I’ve also served as a case manager and life-enrichment specialist for a guardianship firm, bringing a holistic, person-centered approach to vulnerable adults.
My expertise in senior living transitions is rooted in years of direct patient care in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, where I partnered closely with care teams to ensure safe, appropriate discharge plans. I’m committed to honoring each person’s dignity, history, and preferences, helping them navigate life’s next step with clarity and compassion.
Outside of work, I enjoy truck camping with my partner Jon, exploring forest trails, paddle boarding alpine lakes, biking around Portland, and creating through art and design. I also love houseplants, fiber arts, and wood-fired ceramics.
This is a photo of me and my mom, Linda, from a recent visit back home to Maine.
She is a resilient, thriving, creative and deeply kind 82 year old that the world is blessed to have!
