Welcome
My name is Rebecca Loring. I’m a Portland, Maine native who has called Portland, Oregon home since 2008. Over the past 13+ years in Occupational Therapy, I’ve supported individuals across the lifespan—from children with developmental challenges to adults with mental health needs, neurocognitive changes, and complex medical conditions. I am certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), licensed in Oregon as a COTA/L and a member of Oregon Senior Referral Agency Association (OSRAA). Additionally, for five years I’ve served as a senior case manager and life-enrichment specialist for a fiduciary firm, bringing a holistic, person-centered approach to serving protected adults.
My expertise in senior living transitions is rooted in years of direct patient care in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, where I partnered closely with care teams to ensure safe and appropriate discharge plans. As a case manager I have spent years inside many care homes and communities seeing first hand the kind of care my clients receive. This has given me an inside perspective on what homes and communities embody best practices for serving the senior population. I’m committed to honoring each person’s dignity, values, and personality, helping each person/family navigate life’s next step with clarity and compassion.
Outside of work, I enjoy truck camping with my partner Jon, exploring forest trails, paddle boarding alpine lakes, biking around Portland, and creating through music, art and design. I have a soft spot for houseplants, fiber arts, and wood-fired ceramics.
